What you'll be doing
- Conducting regular site inspections to identify and mitigate potential health and safety risks
- Implementing and monitoring safety protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards
- Providing training and guidance to employees on proper safety practices and the use of protective equipment
- Investigating and documenting any incidents or accidents that occur, and recommending corrective actions
- Collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders to develop and enhance safety plans
- Maintaining detailed records and preparing comprehensive safety reports
- College graduate of any 4 year course
- Must have COSH/BOSH certificate
- Sufficient computer knowledge
- Relevant qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience as a Safety Officer or in a similar role within the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, including local and national legislation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with employees at all levels
- Proficient in Safety Document Management.
- Proactive, detail-oriented and committed to promoting a culture of safety
- Familiar in Philippine Safety Laws and Regulations.
