Credit Investigator - Field

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Conduct thorough credit investigations on loan applicants, including verification of personal, financial, employment, and business information.
2. Analyze credit data such as financial statements, bank records, credit bureau reports, and payment histories to assess creditworthiness.
3. Perform field investigations and background checks when required, including residence and business verification.
4. Identify, document, and escalate high-risk or potentially fraudulent cases in accordance with company policies.
5. Ensure strict compliance with internal credit policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
6. Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in credit investigation, credit analysis, banking, lending, or risk management.
3. Strong knowledge of credit evaluation, financial analysis, and risk assessment
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
5. Ability to analyze credit reports, bank statements, and financial records
6. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
7. High attention to detail and accuracy
8. Excellent communication and interviewing skills
9. High level of integrity and confidentiality
10. Fluency in Visayan (Cebuano/Bisaya) and English, both written and verbal
11. Willingness to travel within assigned areas
12. Flexible schedule to meet investigation deadlines
13. Valid driver’s license (preferred for fieldwork)
