SENIOR CUSTOMIZATIONS ENGINEER

Position Summary:

The Senior Customizations Engineer is responsible for leading web customization projects through advanced development, quality assurance, and technical guidance. This role ensures client solutions meet performance, design, security, and usability standards while providing technical support, process improvements, and mentorship to the Customizations team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, modify, and integrate web customizations using HTML, CSS, and related technologies.
• Assess complex client requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Perform thorough testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure quality, compatibility, and performance.
• Conduct cross-browser and responsive testing to maintain a consistent user experience.
• Establish and improve QA workflows, testing standards, and documentation processes.
• Review developers’ work to ensure compliance with functionality, usability, accessibility, and design standards.
• Manage ticket priorities, workload distribution, and project timelines.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to web developers.
• Investigate and resolve complex front-end and integration issues.
• Research new tools, technologies, and best practices to improve team efficiency and capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• At least 3+ years of experience in web development, front-end customization, or web QA, preferably in SaaS or eCommerce.
• Advanced skills in HTML and CSS; knowledge of PHP or scripting languages is a plus.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, web performance, and UI/UX principles.
• Experience troubleshooting front-end and system integration issues.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems, QA documentation, and bug tracking tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules.
