Job Summary

The Finance Head is responsible for overseeing the financial health of the company, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective budget management, and compliance with regulatory requirements. This role involves strategic planning, risk management, and guiding financial decision-making to support the company's growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy & Planning
  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Drive financial planning and analysis to support decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimization.
Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, including financial forecasting and analysis.
  • Monitor financial performance and provide variance analysis.
Financial Reporting & Compliance
  • Oversee preparation of financial statements and management reports.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, corporate governance, and financial reporting standards.
  • Liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
Cash Flow & Risk Management
  • Manage company cash flow to ensure financial stability.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks, including market, credit, and operational risks.
Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead and mentor the finance team to ensure high performance.
  • Foster a culture of financial discipline and accountability.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CFA preferred).
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, reporting standards, and compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in construction and/or manufacturing.
  • Strong background in cost control and financial modeling.
  • Familiarity with international financial reporting standards (IFRS) and tax laws.
