Construction Engineer
About the role
Cavite contracting services inc.', a leading construction firm in the Philippines, is seeking a talented Construction Engineer to join their team in Pasig City Metro Manila. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of the company's construction projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards and safety protocols.
What you'll be doing- Oversee the day-to-day construction activities, including site inspections, project planning, and quality control
- Liaise with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to coordinate construction activities and address any issues that arise
- Interpret and apply engineering drawings, specifications, and building codes to ensure compliance
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the management team
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations on the construction site
- Provide technical support and guidance to the construction team as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar construction engineering role
- Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders
- Ability to work well in a team and under tight deadlines
- Familiarity with local building codes and construction regulations
