Job Qualifications for an Area Sales Manager (Cosmetics Industry)

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the cosmetics, beauty, or FMCG industry.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a managerial role.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Strategic thinking with the ability to analyze market trends and sales data.
• Customer relationship management and ability to build long-term partnerships.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the assigned area.
• Manage, train, and motivate a team of sales representatives or beauty advisors.
• Establish and maintain relationships with distributors, retailers, and key accounts.
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends to adjust sales strategies.
• Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and brand guidelines.
• Conduct field visits to assess sales team performance and customer needs.

• Willingness to travel within the assigned area.
• Valid driver’s license (if required).
