Accounts Receivable Analyst
About the role
As the Accounts Receivable Analyst at Virginia Food, Inc (VFI), you will play a crucial role in managing the company's accounts receivable processes. This full-time position is based in Cebu City, Cebu and involves overseeing the timely collection of payments, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organisation.
What you'll be doing- Monitor and follow up on outstanding customer accounts to ensure timely payment collection
- Investigate and resolve billing and payment disputes with customers
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all accounts receivable transactions
- Prepare and analyse accounts receivable reports, identifying trends and potential issues
- Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile accounts and maintain the integrity of financial data
- Assist with the implementation and enhancement of accounts receivable policies and procedures
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and handle inquiries in a professional manner
- A graduate of BS Accountancy or Management Accounting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Preferably with knowledge of accounts receivable best practices and industry regulations
