Job Responsibilities:

• Assists the foaming manager with the day to day tasks including monitoring of employee performance, cleanliness and safety of the area, monitoring production output, maintaining the machinery and equipment of the department, and quality of the finished product.
• In case of absence of the Foaming Manager, to take over the leadership of the department and ensure that productivity is still at an optimum.
• Ensures Goods Issuance of requests from other branches and Transfer Out requests from system are processed.
• Directs process head with their day-to-day tasks and goals.
• Monitors and collects all daily output record sheet from process heads.
• Ensures all job orders received are processed as per scheduled.
• Guarantees all production items are delivered on-time.
• Ensures all finished items are transacted properly with Goods Receipt in SAP
• Makes sure that the transactions and item movements in SAP are encoded properly by the encoder.
• Provides Stock transfer order from SAP to the process head in-charge to ready the items for distribution.
• Ensures the quality of the raw materials received from the supplier and any defects must be reported to the production Supervisor.
• Makes sure there are sufficient raw materials and are readily available before starting the start of shift.
• Ensures and maintains quality standards of all items in the Foam Mattress Department.
• Develops and achieves day-to-day production goals.
• Reports to Production Supervisor for any production related concerns.

• Monitors process head performance and their day to day goals and quotas.
• Guides and instructs process head with the production processes.
• Assists in tracking employee’s attendance and report any of these that arise to the HR department.
• Assists the Foaming Manager in reporting of employee violations to the HR Department.
• Attends regular meetings when the Foaming Manager is not available.
• Monitors all production tools, equipment and machines.
• Check all production tools, equipment and machines on a regular basis.
• Monitors all machines general maintenance to prevent back logs and accidents.
• Ensures safety of production employees by implementing safety rules and regulations.
• Maintains 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) system in the Foam Mattress Department production area.

Job Qualifications:

• Licensed Chemical Engineer
• At least 1-2 years Supervisory experience in a retail company
