Accounting Supervisor

Job description:

As an Accounting Supervisor, you will manage various accounting functions in our company Dash Cargo Logistics. You will handle day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial records and reports. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, retail and wholesale business operations, and the ability to work cross-functionally to support the financial health of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general ledger accounting, including month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Monitor and track inventory-related transactions and costs.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analysis.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting for both retail and wholesale operations.
• Handle tax preparation and compliance, ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.
• Provide support during internal and external audits.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting for retail and wholesale segments.
• Perform other ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.
• Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in accounting, preferably within the renewable energy industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in inventory management and cost accounting is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Willing to work onsite in Parqal Mall, Parañaque (Monday-Friday)
