Accounting Supervisor

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Supervisor to oversee our daily accounting operations and lead our growing finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial records, supervising accounting staff (including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable), and driving the monthly closing process.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate the daily performance of the accounting staff (AP, AR, and general accounting).
• Train new team members on company financial policies, accounting systems, and best practices.
• Review and approve the work of Accounting Assistant and Staff Accountants for accuracy.

• Manage the end-of-month, end-of-quarter, and end-of-year closing processes.
• Prepare and review accurate balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Generate ITR for filing purposes quarterly and monthly mandatory.

• Oversee cash flow forecasting and monitor daily banking activities.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations, as well as GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits to provide necessary documentation and explanations.
• Communicate to Accounting Head for the compliance purposes.
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and implement internal controls.
• Other duties as assigned: Perform additional tasks and special projects as requested by the immediate supervisor or management.

Technical Skills:

o Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, formulas).

• Soft Skills: Strong leadership abilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to explain complex financial data to non-finance colleagues.
