PROJECT IN CHARGE

Job Description:

• Manage construction projects from pre-construction phase to completion.
• Develop a strategic plan for the construction project which includes timelines, phases of work, manpower schedule, materials delivery schedule, budget and other resources.
• Report to superior on the daily construction activities personally or through various medium of communication being used.
• Prepare materials and tools requisitions and submit to head office on time.
• Prepare owner supplied materials list and promptly submit to client.
• Establish document management and control system.
• Spearhead daily coordination meetings with direct contractors, sub-contractors and all groups and workers involved in the construction project.
• Daily review of the construction documents and contracts versus the actual works being implemented and create variation and supplementary work proposals.
• Coordinate with the other teams involved in the construction project such as the QS group, modular group, designers/architects and client’s representatives.
• Maintain all relevant project documentation, charts, calendars and reports.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Architecture
• 3-5 years construction project experience in either or all of the following areas – structural, civil, architectural and finishing works
• Willing to work over regular working hours
• Proficient in MS Office
• Knowledgeable in AutoCAD
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English and Filipino
• With utmost dedication and commitment to work and can work under pressure
