Unified Communications (UC) Engineer

About the role

NYGC Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled Unified Communications (UC) Engineer to join our dynamic team in Manila City, Metro Manila. As a UC Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our company's unified communications infrastructure, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration across our organisation.

1. Design, configure, and manage Unified Communications systems, including Voice over IP (VoIP), video conferencing, instant messaging, and collaboration tools
2. Implement and maintain enterprise-level UC solutions, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
3. Troubleshoot and resolve complex UC-related issues, providing prompt and effective support to end-users
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate UC solutions with other IT systems and applications
5. Develop and document standard operating procedures for UC system management and maintenance
6. Provide training and support to end-users on the effective utilisation of UC tools and technologies
7. Stay up-to-date with the latest UC trends, technologies, and best practices, and make recommendations for system improvements

1. Minimum 3 years of experience in Unified Communications engineering or a similar role
2. Strong technical expertise in VoIP, video conferencing, instant messaging, and collaboration platforms
3. Proficient in the configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting of enterprise-level UC systems
4. Hands-on experience with UC technologies such as Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business, or similar
5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve complex issues
6. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality work
8. Relevant certifications, such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), would be an advantage
