Position: Public Relation Manager (PR Manager)
Location: Purok 1, Brgy. Baliti, Mac Arthur Hiway, San Fernando, Pampanga
Accountability: Reports to Project Manager
Staff: Please refer to the Organization Chart

Objective: The Public Relations Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining the Company's reputation, building positive relationships with key stakeholders (DOTr, PNR and the Engineer) and effectively communicating with the public.

Public means, the LGU, the Project Owners, the Project affected Communities, the Project Affected Persons (PAPS), the Engineer, the Highway Patrol Group (HPG), the Traffic Enforcement and Control Group and the Media.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Coordinate Public Relations matters and exercises with the Engineer and keep the Engineer informed at all times of relevant issues and events. Promote the project to the Public and the parties concerned with a positive message and explain the benefits which will be realized by the development of the Project.
  2. Prepares the Public Relations Plan, reviews and implement them according to the project schedule and closely coordinate with the Construction and Station Manager for the development of the PR plans and traffic management plan.
  3. Prepare permit requisites and develop a strategy on how to acquire all permits "on time" required prior to the start of any construction activity, like; temporary fencing permit, excavation permit, construction permit and the like.
  4. Acts as a liaison between the construction company and external entities Establish and maintain relationships with local communities affected by the project
  5. Build and maintain positive relationships with various stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and industry partners.
  6. Communicate the company's commitment to environmental sustainability, safety, and community development to the LGU (Barangay and to the municipal or city)
  7. Coordinate community outreach programs, if any, to address concerns, (like transport of wide and heavy commodities (like Segmental Box Girder) provide information and build positive relationships.
  8. Ensure adequate transparency of the Project to the public and key stakeholders.
  9. Gain support and minimize objections from the community and PAC's/PAP's. 10. Develop and maintain relationships with media representatives.
  10. Develop communication plans specific to construction projects, ensuring stakeholders are informed about project timelines, milestones, and potential disruptions.
  11. Highlight the company's commitment to safety, quality, and environmental responsibility in project communications.
  12. Oversee the construction company's social media presence, engaging with the online community and sharing updates on projects.
  13. Monitor social media channels for public sentiment and address any concerns or comments.
  14. Implement a robust process for receiving, addressing and tracking comments, criticisms and complaints from all [parties during the contract.
  15. Resolve Public relations issues arising during the course of construction and elevate major issues to the Employer via the Engineer, as required
  16. Prevent and/or mitigate any nuisance or disturbances to the public due to the construction activities at the earliest possible time.
  17. Attend and answer queries for the purpose of public consultation including but not limited to LGU'S, PNR, Emergency services, Stakeholders, Employer, Engineer, NGO, PAC's and PAP's during and outside office hours.
  18. Any other task that may be assigned from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1 Excellent written and verbal communication skill.
  1. Ability to pitch to media.
  2. Ability to work on big strategy plans as well as day to day task.
  3. Ability to think both creatively and strategically.
  4. Ability to run PR campaigns that deliver measurable results and meet objectives.
  5. Deadline-oriented, inquisitive, with great follow-up and reporting skills. 8. Understanding of social media and solid experience working with content creators.
  6. Project and budget management skills.
  7. Responds well under pressure with strict time limit.
  8. Quick and enthusiastic learner.
