Bookkeeper - Muntinlupa

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team at The Palace' in Bonifacio Global City Taguig City Metro Manila. As a full-time Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the overall financial management of the company.

1. Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial statements
2. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections
3. Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial information
4. Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
5. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, such as managers and accountants, to provide financial information and support
6. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies
7. Provide administrative support and contribute to the overall efficiency of the finance department

1. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably in a small to medium-sized business
2. Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles, practices, and procedures
3. Proficient in the use of accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Xero
4. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
5. Strong organisational and time management abilities
6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills
7. A relevant degree or professional certification in accounting or finance is preferred
