Join our team as a Safety Officer 2 (SO2) at NYGC Services, Inc.', a leading engineering services provider in Pasig City Metro Manila. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our employees and operations.
What you'll be doing- Implementing and monitoring safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
- Conducting risk assessments, site inspections, and safety audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards
- Providing safety training and education to employees to promote a culture of safety awareness
- Investigating and documenting incidents and accidents, and implementing corrective actions
- Collaborating with project teams to integrate safety considerations into all aspects of our operations
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant safety regulations and best practices
- Preparing detailed safety reports and presentations for management
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Safety Officer or in a related safety role within the engineering industry
- Degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health, or a related field
- Strong understanding of safety regulations, including OSHA and local safety standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with employees at all levels
- Proven ability to identify and mitigate safety risks, and implement effective safety programs
- Proficient in data analysis, report writing, and presentation skills
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
