Payroll Associate

The Payroll Associate is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with statutory, regulatory, and internal company policies. The role includes payroll administration, government-mandated benefits processing, payroll reporting, and providing support during audits and employee inquiries

• Process payroll accurately and on schedule.
• Calculate wages, deductions, overtime, and other payroll adjustments.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve payroll discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with government-mandated benefits and statutory requirements (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and BIR).
• Assist in processing government benefits claims and related documentation.
• Prepare payroll reports and management reports as required.
• Support payroll audits and ensure proper documentation and compliance.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding payroll concerns and employee movements.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy.

• Basic understanding of compensation and payroll principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Fair to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel formulas and functions.
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of payroll information.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Preferably with 6 months to 1 year of payroll processing experience or relevant work experience.
• Familiarity with Philippine labor laws and government-mandated benefits administration is an advantage.
