Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in an administrative or HR support role
  • Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Familiarity with HR software and databases; experience with UKG preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate employee data in HR systems, including employee records, status changes, and required documentation.
  • Manage and monitor new hire background checks through third-party vendors, and communicate status updates and results to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Initiate and support new hire onboarding activities, including onboarding tasks, documentation, data entry, and communication with hiring managers to ensure a smooth and timely start experience.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, programs, and general HR processes, escalating complex matters as appropriate.
  • Maintain digital personnel files and confidential HR documentation in accordance with company standards and recordkeeping requirements.
  • Conduct routine HR data audits to identify and resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate, compliant employee information.
  • Support compliance with applicable labor and employment requirements, internal policies, and HR controls.
  • Assist with SOC-related HR control activities, documentation, and audit support.
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports for HR leadership and business partners.
  • Support HR system testing for upgrades, enhancements, deployments, and process changes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR service delivery by streamlining processes, enhancing documentation, and leveraging automation where appropriate.
  • Partner with HR functional teams, including HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Benefits, and other departments as needed.
  • Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
