Research Specialist - Data Analytics

Makati City | Full time | Hybrid

You will be a trusted partner to senior leaders, as well as a mentor and go-to expert for teammates on advanced research and data-related requests.

What you will do:

• Lead complex research and market intelligence projects on clients, industries, markets, competitors and practice areas
• Apply critical thinking to research methodologies and rigorously assess data accuracy and relevance

• Manage project pipelines, ensure timely and high-quality delivery and independently resolve project challenges under tight deadlines
• Engage with senior stakeholders (Partners, C-suite and Directors) to understand, challenge and refine complex research needs
• Act as a subject matter expert on key research databases and collaborate with data vendors to source strategic information
• Integrate Generative AI into daily work and support training on AI tools, research methodologies and best practices

What we are looking for:

• Financial background / Mergers & Acquisitions/ Capital Markets / Private Equity is strongly preferred
• Experienced in research or related analytical role/field such as Statistics or Economics or Consulting or Professional Services (Banking, Accounting, Strategy consulting, etc.)
• Has worked in multinational companies/environment with demonstrated interaction with various stakeholders
• Demonstrated experience in independently delivering research output or similar reports
• Expert-level Excel (complex formulas, macros, pivot tables) and strong command of MS Office
• Proven ability to evaluate large data sets, make decisions and generate clear insights and stories in Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong track record in trend analysis across industries, sectors, countries and markets, including client analysis and competitive benchmarking
• Comfortable engaging with C-suite stakeholders, integrating Generative AI tools into research and data analysis, learning new tools quickly and mentoring junior team members
• Must be amenable working on EMEA and US shift; amenable to a hybrid work set-up (3 days onsite per week - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and holiday support.
