JOB VACANCY: SITE / FACILITY ENGINEER
We are seeking a Site / Facility Engineer to oversee construction activities while ensuring proper operation, maintenance, and efficiency of facilities, equipment, and utilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Civil / Construction Engineering:
- Review technical specifications, plans, drawings, and related documents, including site surveys.
- Schedule, monitor, and track program activities to ensure on-time project completion.
- Coordinate and follow up with the Purchasing Head to ensure timely delivery of required materials.
- Monitor project costs to ensure activities remain within approved budget.
- Perform engineering work involving conventional methods, plans, investigations, surveys, structures, and equipment with minimal complexity.
- Prepare and submit equipment utilization reports.
- Control and monitor work-in-progress activities on site.
- Determine labor requirements and dispatch workers to construction sites accordingly.
- Collect, verify, and submit Daily Time Records (DTR) of on-site personnel.
- Assist in the preparation or modification of:
- Construction schedules
- Environmental impact studies
- Permits and project designs
- Equipment utilization plans
- Project-related reports
- Prepare and maintain project documentation including:
- Straight Line Diagrams (SLD)
- Site and progress photos
- Statement of Work Accomplished (SWA)
- Conduct daily monitoring of materials inventory.
Facility Engineering:
- Oversee maintenance, and repair of facilities and ensure proper functioning of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and civil systems.
- Monitor facility-related contractors, service providers, and maintenance personnel.
- Conduct regular facility inspections and recommend improvements or corrective actions.
- Manage facility assets, tools, and equipment to ensure optimal utilization.
- Prepare maintenance schedules, work orders, and facility condition reports.
- Coordinate emergency repairs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Licensed Civil Engineer (preferred but not mandatory)
- Experience in construction supervision and/or facilities management is an advantage
- Knowledgeable in building systems, maintenance planning, and project coordination
- Strong organizational, coordination, and reporting skills
- Willing to work on-site and manage multiple tasks
