Job description:
What You Will Be Doing- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure web applications using Vue.js, Java, Spring Boot, SQL/NoSQL, and other modern technologies
- Architect and implement complex, microservices-centric systems to ensure modularity, scalability, and long-term maintainability
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, data teams, and fellow engineers to define, design, and ship new features
- Optimize applications for performance, reliability, and scalability
- Build, deploy, and maintain cloud-based solutions on AWS
- Leverage data analytics, machine learning, and AI to enhance and innovate lending and financial products
- Ensure high standards for performance, quality, security, and responsiveness across applications
- Identify system bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective fixes
- Conduct code reviews, promote best practices, and mentor junior developers
- Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends to keep the platform ahead of the curve
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack web application development
- Strong proficiency in Vue.js and modern front-end development practices
- Expertise in Java and Spring Boot for back-end services
- Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts
- Working knowledge of data analytics, machine learning, and AI applications
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile, team-oriented environment
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Experience working in the financial services or fintech industry
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture
- Proven experience architecting complex, distributed systems
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
