Legal Assistant
About the role
We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our team at the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM) in Pasay City, Metro Manila. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in supporting our legal unit by providing administrative and clerical assistance to ensure the smooth operation of our legal affairs.
What you'll be doing- Conducting legal research and compiling relevant information to support the work of our legal unit
- Drafting and editing legal documents, such as contracts, agreements, and correspondence
- Organizing and maintaining electronic and physical legal files and records
- Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies
- Providing administrative support, such as scheduling appointments and managing calendars
- Ensuring compliance with legal and organizational requirements
- Assisting the Legal Officer in preparing for Board Meetings
- Assisting with special projects and other duties as assigned
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a legal or administrative support role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in using legal research tools and software, such as document management systems
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality
- A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
