Job Summary

The Associate Test Analyst is an entry-level quality assurance professional responsible for supporting software testing activities to ensure the quality, functionality, and reliability of applications. Working under the guidance of senior testers and test leads, the role involves developing and executing test cases, identifying defects, maintaining test documentation, and contributing to the successful delivery of technology solutions.

• Review and understand business, functional, and technical requirements.
• Develop test cases and test scenarios with guidance from senior team members, ensuring traceability to requirements.
• Execute test cases across functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, performance, and user acceptance testing activities.
• Identify, document, track, and escalate defects in accordance with established processes.
• Conduct regression testing following bug fixes, enhancements, or system changes.
• Prepare and maintain testing artifacts, including test cases, test data, test evidence, and test reports.
• Support test documentation management and ensure accurate records are maintained in approved repositories.
• Collaborate with developers, business users, and fellow QA team members to validate system functionality and resolve issues.
• Continuously learn testing tools, methodologies, and best practices through coaching, documentation, and hands-on experience.
• Perform other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or any related field.

• 0–2 years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Assurance, Application Support, or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates with relevant internships, academic projects, or testing exposure are encouraged to apply.

• ISTQB Foundation Level Certification
• Other software testing certifications are an advantage

• Basic understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
• Test Case Design and Execution
• Defect Identification and Reporting
• Test Documentation and Reporting
• Functional, Integration, Regression, and User Acceptance Testing
• Basic Test Data Preparation and Management
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
• Basic understanding of API Testing and Test Automation concepts
• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, Confluence, Postman, HP ALM, or similar platforms
