Production Supervisor (Pampanga)

Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR.

1. Lead the Production Line Team by ensuring production operations within prescribed production plan and established standards – including but not limited to, process & product quality, machine maintenance, and cost – and ensure operational compliance based on key performance indicators and key results areas, as aligned with business objectives and business needs;
2. Supervise the end-to-end resource management and inventory control, and prepare variance analyses & loss mapping action planning & monitoring of the assigned line/s;
3. Ensure implementation of policies and internal memorandum; and align with updates on implemented policies and standards related but not limited to EHS Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment, Good Manufacturing Practices, ISO 9001:2015 (QMS), HACCP, HALAL, and FSSC; and as in the case may be, form part of the Internal Audit team and ensure compliance on, established management systems mentioned;
4. Conduct daily inspection of the line and ensure compliance to implemented safety and quality systems & standards, as mentioned;
5. Manage budget allocation of the assigned line/s;
6. Participate in production planning, and prepare job requests, and work schedules & coordinate materials requisition based on weekly production plan;
7. Monitor strategic planning activities, and execution of plans and programs of the line;
8. Collate and submit daily reports; and participate in investigation of major machine breakdowns & other non-conformities, and preventive maintenance planning;
9. Represent the organization, as needed, in functional congregations, especially in liaising with Corporate Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Reliability Group, Global Innovations Center, Corporate Maintenance Group, Corporate Quality Assurance, and other Production Supervisors from different URC BCFG Plants;
10. Perform assigned tasks for subordinates including, but not limited to, talent management, employee discipline, policy administration, and performance & goals management; and participate in talent acquisition processes, as needed; and
11. Perform other tasks and functions as may be delegated by the Immediate Superior.

1. Graduate of any engineering course, Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical or Electronics Engineering; license and/or certification, or graduate studies, preferably related to relevant Engineering field, are advantages;
2. With at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing industry, 1 year of which in supervisory capacity; experience in food and beverage manufacturing is an advantage;
3. Has a deep knowledge in end-to-end value chain management for Production spanning Production Planning, Material Requisition, Production Operations and Warehousing;
4. With aptitude in implementing relevant management systems in the food industry, including but not limited to EHS Management Systems, Good Manufacturing Practices, ISO 9001:2015 (QMS), HACCP, HALAL and FSSC;
5. With prominent leadership, communication and basic management (planning, leading, organizing and controlling) skills, communication skills, team player, keen to details, and organized record-keeping skills;
6. With proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and Teams, at minimum), and SAP; and
7. With excellent people management skills, backed by solid experience in coaching, mentoring, employee discipline, performance management, talent development and change management. Familiarity with basic labor laws and line human resources functions is preferred.
