Microsoft Dynamics CE Technical Consultant

Capgemini is looking for a Technical Consultant with strong Dynamics 365 CE expertise to support solution delivery and drive continuous improvement across client engagements. This role focuses on completing support tasks, contributing to enhancement activities, and delivering value through smaller support projects.
You’ll participate in design and delivery decisions for operational programmes, advise clients on best practices, and help coordinate client-focused support across the broader Operations team. While not a people manager, you may provide leadership within a team of consultants to achieve client objectives.

You’ll also be expected to maintain and grow your product and industry knowledge to support Capgemini’s standards and processes.

Job Responsibilities

Provide operational support to existing clients and provide client relationship management and leadership

to other team members.
  • Provide queue management ownership as required via team process. This includes overall team ownership
on SLA and update requirements.
  • Assists with managing major incidents to their successful conclusion, including write up of critical incident
reports.
  • Ensure quality delivery best practice is applied. Lead members of the team to follow best practice
standards.
  • Provides Microsoft D365 functional domain expertise and regularly mentors/shares knowledge with team
members.
  • Work with Team Lead to identify client opportunities for proactive advisory services.
  • Work with clients to bring value through continuous evolution bring value and not order taking.
  • Confident to lead and participate in requirement gathering sessions and design of minor enhancements.
  • Work with the lead functional to ascertain the best technical approach to a solution.
  • Identify Operations related issues and risks and escalate as required. Provide recommendations and
solutions to resolve issues and mitigate risks.
  • Assisting in the creation of any work requests input required.
  • Actively communicate with peers and clients in a clear, professional, proactive manner.
  • Keep across technology updates, changes and relevant emerging technology.

Job Requirements

Experience

  • 5+ years relevant working experience as a developer.
  • Strong familiarity of the tools and methodologies listed below.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree holder
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications like PL 400/ PL600 is a plus
  • Understand Structured Development and Implementation Methodologies/Techniques such as Waterfall,
RAD, Iterative and SCRUM.
  • Languages: Microsoft .Net Framework, ASP.Net, C#, JavaScript, PowerShell, SQL
  • Foundation Technologies: Visual Studio Professional, Internet Information Server, SQL Server (including
SSIS, SSRS), Team Foundation Server, Visual Studio Online, Azure.
  • One or more of the following relevant technologies: BizTalk, SSAS, Customer Engagement (CE), CRM
  • Experience in Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience providing ongoing support for existing solutions.
