Cell Supervisor (Production Supervisor)
Your Job
As a Cell Supervisor, you will lead the production team to achieve operational targets while ensuring customer requirements are met. You will oversee daily production activities, optimize efficiency, maintain safety and quality standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the production cell.
Our Team
You will be part of the Integrated Products Division in the Philippines, working closely with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing Engineering (ME), Test Engineering (TE), Quality Assurance (QA), Product Design Engineering (PDE), Production Planning and Inventory Control (PIC), and Continuous Improvement Team (CIT).You will also collaborate with subcontractors and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth production flow.
What You Will Do- Lead and oversee production workshop operations, including planning, efficiency, safety, and resource allocation
- Ensure achievement of all production targets set by management
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workplace aligned with 5S principles
- Coordinate production planning to optimize output and capacity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve production flow and resolve issues
- Train, appraise, and develop team members to enhance performance and productivity
- Drive TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) activities and ensure equipment readiness
- Implement cost reduction initiatives and simplify production processes
- Support and comply with Molex systems such as TQM, Six Sigma, ISO, and EH&S
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and legal requirements
- Manage timekeeping for direct reports (Kronos)
- Attend training programs and contribute to company initiatives
- Promote ethical practices, safety awareness, and social responsibility
- College level education
- At least 4 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong management and leadership skills
- Ability to manage production processes, people, and performance metrics
- College degree or higher
- Knowledge of computer systems and tools
- Proficiency in professional English communication
- Background in mechanical or technical disciplines
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, TPM, Lean Manufacturing)
