Carry, load, and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment.
Assist carpenters, masons, steel workers, electricians, and other skilled trades as required.
Prepare and clean up job sites (removing debris, setting up scaffolding, digging trenches, mixing concrete, etc.).
Operate basic tools and equipment safely.
Follow instructions from foremen, engineers, and supervisors.
Ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and comply with company safety policies.
Report unsafe conditions, damaged tools, or accidents immediately to the supervisor.
Perform other duties as may be assigned related to construction operations.
Qualifications/Requirements- Age Requirement
- Educational Background
Preferably high school level/graduate.
TESDA short courses (e.g., Masonry NC II, Carpentry NC II, Scaffolding Works NC II) are an advantage.
- Physical Fitness
Good stamina and strength.
- Work Experience
Skilled laborers (mason, carpenter, steelman, etc.) usually require 1–2 years experience.
- Skills & Abilities
Ability to follow instructions from foremen/engineers.
Knowledge of basic tools and materials.Teamwork and discipline.
Awareness of safety protocols (wearing PPE, hazard awareness).
- Other Requirements (as per employer)
NBI/Police clearance (sometimes).
Willingness to undergo OSH training (e.g., BOSH for Workers, Safety Orientation).
- Preferred / Added Value Qualifications
Holder of TESDA NC II in a construction trade (masonry, carpentry, scaffolding, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
Previous experience in construction sites.Knowledge of safe lifting and material handling.
