Location: Taguig City, Philippines
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, Morning Shift (8:00 AM 5:00 PM)
Work Setup: Onsite
Budget Range: 80,000 - 120,000

Sr. Level Role: 180,000 - 220,000

Job Summary:

The Cost Accounting Manager will oversee the cost accounting function within a shared services environment, ensuring accurate cost analysis, reporting, and financial planning for FMCG operations. This role plays a vital part in budgeting, cost control, and strategic decision-making support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage cost accounting operations across multiple entities in the shared services structure.
  • Monitor and analyze cost variances and profitability margins across products and production units.
  • Conduct inventory valuation, standard costing, and product cost analysis.
  • Implement cost control measures and make recommendations to improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure data integrity and timely reporting.
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual cost closing processes.
  • Prepare and analyze cost reports and financial forecasts for senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards (e.g., IFRS/GAAP).
  • Assist in budgeting and long-term financial planning activities.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of cost analysts or accountants.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or CMA designation is highly preferred.
  • At least 5-7 years of progressive experience in cost accounting, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a leadership/managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of product costing, standard cost systems, and cost accounting principles.
  • Experience working in a shared services or multinational environment is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
