Electrical Estimator (AU Construction, Hybrid)

Schedule: Monday - Friday (4:30am to 1:30pm PHT)

What are we looking for?

Skills Required:

• Strong electrical and instrumentation background (Engineer or Technician)
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and Australian Standards
• Experience in construction estimating, cost build-up, and tender preparation
• Proficiency in estimating tools and systems (e.g., Simpro, Excel workbooks)
• Strong organizational, documentation, and coordination skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience with SharePoint document control and tender systems
• Exposure to large-scale construction or infrastructure projects
• Knowledge of supplier and subcontractor sourcing processes
• Strong analytical and cost validation skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities

• Receive, organize, and manage RFQs and tenders within internal folder structures
• Set up tender registers, document control systems, and estimating workbooks
• Perform detailed material take-offs and labor estimates based on drawings and specifications
• Build raw cost estimates for labor, materials, subcontractors, and equipment
• Issue RFQs to suppliers and subcontractors, track responses, and ensure documentation is complete
• Analyze supplier quotations for scope completeness, exclusions, and compliance
• Prepare tender summaries to support Go / No-Go decision-making
• Compile complete tender submission packages, including proposals, schedules, and appendices
• Coordinate tender reviews and present cost summaries and assumptions to stakeholders
• Perform final QA checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with client requirements
• Facilitate project handover meetings and present final pricing, assumptions, and supplier selections
