RMM Services Technician (Night shift, 1x a week on-site)

As a NinjaOne Services Technician, you will play a key role in delivering large-scale endpoint management and modernization projects using the NinjaOne platform. This role focuses on the deployment, configuration, and ongoing optimization of NinjaOne for device monitoring, patch management, automation, and remote support across distributed environments. The NinjaOne Services Technician will be responsible for installing and configuring agents, building and maintaining policies and automation, troubleshooting endpoint issues, and ensuring the platform is effectively leveraged to improve operational efficiency and security. What you'll do at Insight- Assist in the deployment of NinjaOne across client environments, including agent installation on Windows, macOS, and other supported endpoints.
- Configure global and site-specific settings within NinjaOne, including organizations, sites, roles, and access permissions.
- Configure and manage patch policies for operating systems and supported applications within NinjaOne.
- Monitor patch compliance, investigate failures, and remediate non-compliant endpoints
- Develop, test, and maintain automation routines and scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) executed via NinjaOne to streamline routine tasks (software installs, cleanups, configuration changes).
- Configure and tune monitoring and alerting policies to reduce noise and focus on actionable events.
- Provide “Day 2” operational support for endpoints managed through NinjaOne, including health checks and remediation activities.
- Bachelors Degree
- 2–5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Hands-on experience administering NinjaOne or similar RMM/endpoint management tools (e.g., Microsoft Intune, RMM platforms, or comparable solutions).
- Strong understanding of endpoint management concepts: patching, monitoring, asset inventory, software deployment, and remote support.
- Experience with scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, or similar) for automation and remediation tasks
- Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for endpoint and platform-related issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to work effectively with clients, project managers, and engineering teams.
