Job Description
Posted on 21 April 2025- Monitors and manages project costs, ensuring they remain within budget throughout the project lifecycle.
- Working with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure cost-effective project execution.
- Monitoring project schedules and milestones, and ensuring timely completion of work.
- Developing and maintaining project budgets, estimating costs for various tasks, and comparing actual costs against the budget.
- Degree in Civil Engineering. Licensed is an advantage.
- Experience as Cost Engineer/ Quantity Surveyor.
- Experienced in cost estimation, budgeting, and control for large-scale infrastructure or energy project, preferably in WTE or similar industries.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet or database tools.
- Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and equipment costs.
- Understanding of contract types and cost structure, including lump sum, unit price and cost-plus contracts.
- Strong analytical skills for cost analysis, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
- Knowledge of relevant standards and codes such as FIDIC (YELLOW/RED)
