The Safety Officer is responsible for promoting and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by implementing occupational safety and health programs, ensuring compliance with DOLE regulations, and monitoring workplace safety practices.The role involves conducting inspections, safety trainings, incident investigations, and risk assessments to prevent accidents and ensure the well-being of all employees.
Qualifications/Requirements- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Safety Officer
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., BOSH) is required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
