Role Overview
Join our cybersecurity team and take on a key leadership role in analyzing, reverse-engineering, and mitigating advanced malware threats across enterprise environments.
As a Malware Engineer – Associate Manager, you will drive malware analysis and threat investigation initiatives, support incident response efforts, and help enhance the organization’s detection and response capabilities. You will also guide team members, ensuring high-quality delivery while contributing to the overall cybersecurity strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and oversee malware analysis and reverse engineering activities
- Perform deep-dive static and dynamic analysis of malicious code to identify attack patterns, behaviors, and impact
- Support and drive incident response efforts involving malware-related investigations
- Collaborate with SOC, DFIR, and Threat Intelligence teams to improve detection and response strategies
- Develop and maintain detection rules, signatures, and threat intelligence outputs (IOCs, TTPs)
- Evaluate the effectiveness of existing security controls and recommend improvements
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and oversight to team members
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and capability development initiatives
- Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to align security priorities and drive key decisions
