Accounts Payable Officer - Quezon City

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join our finance team. As an Accounts Payable Officer at Cloud Nine Solutions, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of all accounts payable transactions.

What you will be doing:

• Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and payment requests in a timely manner.
• Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
• Review and reconcile vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies or issues promptly.
• Prepare and process weekly/monthly payment runs, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records and documentation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as procurement and finance teams, to resolve any payment-related queries or issues.
• Assist in month-end closing activities, including accruals and reconciliations.
• Stay updated with relevant accounting principles, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the accounts payable function.
• Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner.

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, procedures, and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of relevant accounting principles and regulations.

Would be great to have:

• Relevant experience working in a similar role for an Australian-based company and/or employer.
• Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Officer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
