Job Summary
As a Business Architect, you will be responsible for evaluating current business processes and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and business value. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, design future-state business solutions, and support strategic transformation initiatives.
The role requires a strong understanding of SAP Finance solutions, enabling you to bridge business needs with technology capabilities while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. You will contribute to business case development, solution design, and implementation activities to drive successful business outcomes.
Roles and Responsibilities- Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Gather, assess, and document business requirements and translate them into scalable business and technology solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical resources to ensure alignment between business objectives and solution delivery.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and requirements-gathering sessions to capture business needs and validate proposed solutions.
- Develop and maintain business architecture artifacts, process flows, and solution documentation.
- Support the development of business cases, transformation roadmaps, and strategic initiatives.
- Provide subject matter expertise in SAP Finance processes and best practices.
- Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to recommend continuous improvements.
- Support change management and user adoption activities during project implementations.
- Participate actively in team discussions and contribute solutions to complex business and technical challenges.
- Work independently while serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the project team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Must-Have Skills- Expert-level proficiency in SAP S/4HANA Finance, particularly:
- Treasury Management
- Central Finance (CFIN)
Alternative Acceptable Skills
Candidates with strong experience in the following SAP Finance modules will also be considered:
- SAP S/4HANA FI/CO
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- General Ledger (GL)
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes within SAP ERP and S/4HANA environments.
- Experience designing and implementing SAP Finance solutions.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective technology-enabled solutions.
- Experience in business process modeling, process improvement, and solution architecture.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Experience developing business cases and supporting strategic decision-making initiatives.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in SAP Finance, Business Architecture, Business Analysis, or related consulting roles.
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations, transformation projects, or finance process optimization initiatives is highly preferred.
