Job Description – Finance Manager

Broad Scope

The Finance Manager will oversee all day‑to‑day trade finance transactions, including Treasury, Accounting, Receivables, and Payables. The role also involves supporting and analyzing tax‑related activities, providing advice and guidance to upper management on compliance and financial matters.

• Manage preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports.
• Monitor and maintain trade receivables and payables to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure tax compliance and provide guidance to other departments on tax matters.
• Handle all bank transactions, including signatory updates, confirmations, and interbank transfers.
• Monitor cash balances, review daily cash flow reports, and prepare monthly cash flow reports.
• Oversee month‑end closing activities including FS, BSPL variance, accruals, adjustments, prepayments, and forex revaluation.
• Record and process payroll, including uploads and final pay.
• Review and execute tax filings, payments, and e‑payments; lead tax audits and external audits.
• Review trade payment requests and address vendor inquiries.
• Perform ad hoc finance tasks as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA is an advantage but not required.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as Assistant Finance Manager or Finance Manager.
• Strong knowledge of Treasury, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and tax compliance.
• Experience in accounting/tax firms is a plus.
• Proficient in SAP and other financial software; advanced MS Excel skills.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Solid understanding of Philippine tax processes and corporate taxation.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and ability to manage confidential data.
• Experience in industries such as logistics, forwarding, or related fields is an advantage.
