Field Service Technician II

Educational Background:

• College level or with Technical Vocational School

Work experience required:

• with a minimum of six (6) months of qualified experience in Boiler & Cooling Tower Water Treatment or any related industries

Technical / Functional Skills:

• Well-knowledgeable and experienced in using basic mechanical tools
• Have basic knowledge and experience in basic electrical wiring
• Can operate basic MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Able to work and communicate well in a team Punctual
• Has a valid Driver’s license (optional)
• Holder of BOSHC 1 Training Certificate (optional)

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Monitors parameters in field of Petron CFB Water and Wastewater Treatment Facility, check for any unusual event in area assigned and provide feedback to Supervisor/Site Leader.
• Monitors Chemical inventory, Chemical Top-up and advise Supervisor if there is need for delivery
• Execute and perform of SOP/WI on all work being done in site.
• Ensure equipment are operating within normal conditions and within specified parameters
• Prepare daily monitoring of service conditions and operating parameters of equipment in site
• Maintain site in neat and orderly fashion, acceptable to customer and maintain good housekeeping within perimeter of the facility
• Ability to conduct basic troubleshooting encountered to prevent plant shutdown and equipment issues
• Conducts water analysis in a routinary manner
• Is flexible to be assigned to other sites depending on the requirement of the account

For Technician with Driving ability:

1. Drive the service vehicle to bring incoming and outgoing personnel to and from site
2. Assists Petron RMP2 account in collecting samples from areas/accounts covered by Suez
3. Expedite documents to be sent to customer for signatory and/or receiving such as Entry list, Delivery receipts,
4. In-charge of the wellness and cleanliness of the service vehicles
5. May be assigned to bring the service vehicles for scheduled Preventive Maintenance
6. Extend support to PPD account for chemical top-ups, etc.
7. Will drive the service vehicle
