Job Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support real estate underwriting and investment analysis. This role is critical in evaluating multifamily and commercial property transactions, preparing investment memos, and contributing to strategic decision-making.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in finance and capital markets, with the ability to learn real estate-specific skills on the job.
Responsibilities- Underwrite real estate transactions, primarily multifamily assets.
- Identify and analyze comparable market data for valuation inputs.
- Research demographic and economic trends to support geographic investment decisions.
- Prepare and update investment memos and pitch decks for new deals and existing assets.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide recommendations for existing portfolio assets.
- Collaborate with senior team members to refine underwriting models and assumptions.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in financial modeling and reporting.
Qualifications:
Hard Skills:
- Strong understanding of finance, capital markets, and financial products.
- Proficiency in real estate underwriting and financial modeling (Excel).
- Experience preparing PowerPoint presentations for investment pitches.
- Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills in a business and finance context.
