Mechanical/Electrical Supervisor (Overhead Crane Maintenance)

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Mechanical/Electrical Supervisor to oversee the maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of overhead cranes and related equipment. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, leadership skills and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment

Qualifications

Graduate of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related technical course.

1. 10 years of experience in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance with significant experience in overhead crane maintenance and repair

Strong knowledge of preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance practices.

Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults in overhead cranes

Familiar with motors, brakes, hoists, gearboxes, limit switches, control panels, VFDs and electrical systems.

Knowledgeable in occupational safety standards and maintenance best practices.

Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills

Willing to work overtime and respond to emergency maintenance when required

Key Responsibilities

Supervise the maintenance team in performing preventive and corrective maintenance on overhead cranes.

Inspect, troubleshoot, repair and maintain mechanical and electrical crane components.

Ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime

Plan and schedule maintenance activities

Maintain maintenance records, inspection reports and work orders.

Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations

Coordinate with production and other departments to support operational requirements

Train and mentor maintenance technicians to improve technical skills and performance.
