Job Description
As an Accounts Payable Team Lead, you will manage the offshore AP team, ensure accuracy in financial transactions, and drive process improvements while collaborating with international stakeholders.

- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Accounts Payable, with strong knowledge of AP processes, systems, and best practices
- At least 2 years in a team management or supervisory role, with proven leadership skills
- Hands-on experience with an Australian AP offshore team, understanding local compliance/reporting standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams
- Strong track record in process improvements and workflow optimization
- Broader finance experience beyond AP is highly desirable, such as:
- Monthly manual data migration from ERP to finance systems
- Employee timesheet processing
- Sustainability or ESG reporting
- Lead and manage the offshore AP team ensuring accurate and timely processing
- Coach and mentor team members to foster a high-performing environment
- Ensure strict adherence to accounting standards and internal policies
- Implement process improvements to enhance AP operations
- Monitor KPIs, manage escalations, and conduct QA reviews
- Oversee monthly data migration from ERP systems to the finance platform
- Support additional finance functions such as timesheet processing and sustainability reporting
- Collaborate with Australian stakeholders for seamless delivery
- Contribute to month-end close processes and other finance-related duties
