Integration Support Engineer (API & Middleware) - Full Remote!

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for a Systems Integration Support Analyst with hands-on experience supporting end-to-end system integrations between business applications. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of APIs, middleware, data mapping, SQL, and production support, and can independently troubleshoot integration issues across multiple platforms.

• 4+ years of experience in Systems Integration Engineer, Integration Support, Middleware Support, or a similar technical role.
• Proven experience supporting end-to-end integrations between enterprise applications (e.g., ERP, CRM, eCommerce, Finance, HRIS, or other third-party business systems).
• Strong hands-on experience working with REST APIs (SOAP experience is a plus), including:
• API requests and responses
• Authentication methods (OAuth, API Keys, Bearer Tokens, Certificates)
• JSON/XML payloads
• API testing and troubleshooting
• Experience troubleshooting integration issues across the complete data flow, including:
• Authentication failures
• Data mapping issues
• Transformation errors
• Schema validation
• HTTP response codes (4xx/5xx)
• Timeouts and connectivity issues
• Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and troubleshooting, including:
• SELECT statements
• JOINs
• Filtering
• Basic database investigation
• Experience with middleware or integration platforms such as:
• Dell Boomi
• MuleSoft
• Workato
• Azure Integration Services
• BizTalk
• Jitterbit
• Celigo
• SnapLogic
• Informatica
• Similar iPaaS/integration technologies
• Experience supporting production environments, incident management, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
• Understanding of data transformation and mapping concepts (JSON, XML, CSV, XSLT, ETL).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
