Your Mission

Your mission is to protect and strengthen the financial health of the business while helping maximize profitability through exceptional financial analysis, operational insight, accurate reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and strong internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
• Analyze sales, gross profit, food cost, labor cost, prime cost, operating expenses, and net profit.
• Identify trends, explain financial performance, and provide practical recommendations for improvement.
• Develop executive dashboards and KPI reports that support strategic decision-making.

Restaurant Performance Management

Monitor, analyze, and improve key restaurant performance indicators, including:

• Sales performance
• Food cost
• Labor cost
• Prime cost
• Inventory variance
• Waste and shrinkage
• Portion control
• Menu profitability
• Cash flow
• Productivity
• Operating expenses
• Overall profitability

Financial Reconciliation & Accuracy

Ensure complete and accurate reconciliation of:

• POS sales
• Cash receipts
• Bank deposits
• Credit and debit card settlements
• GCash
• Maya
• Grab
• Foodpanda
• Merchant settlements
• Bank statements

Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly while implementing systems that prevent future issues.

• Review inventory counts and investigate variances.
• Monitor theoretical versus actual food cost.
• Identify waste, spoilage, and portion control opportunities.
• Review supplier pricing and purchasing trends.
• Recommend cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.

Internal Controls & Risk Management

Design and strengthen systems that protect company assets by preventing:

• Theft
• Fraud
• Revenue leakage
• Inventory shrinkage
• Duplicate payments
• Billing errors
• Cash shortages
• Operational inefficiencies

• Prepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
• Monitor actual performance against budget.
• Analyze variances and recommend corrective action.
• Support long-term strategic planning and cash flow management.

Continuous Business Improvement

Continually identify opportunities to improve:

• Profit margins
• Operational efficiency
• Cost controls
• Financial reporting
• Purchasing
• Inventory management
• Automation
• Business systems
• Overall financial performance

We are looking for someone who brings solutions—not just reports.

Qualifications

• CPA license preferred (or equivalent senior accounting qualification).
• Minimum of five years of accounting or finance experience.
• Restaurant, hospitality, food service, retail, or multi-unit operational experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of management accounting, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets skills.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Restaurant or franchise finance experience.
• Cost accounting expertise.
• Inventory management experience.
• Dashboard and business intelligence reporting.
• Power Query, Power BI, or similar reporting tools.
• Experience improving financial systems and operational processes.

What Success Looks Like

Within your first 90 days, you will:

• Establish accurate, timely, and reliable financial reporting.
• Build executive KPI dashboards.
• Strengthen reconciliation and financial controls.
• Improve inventory accuracy and purchasing oversight.
• Identify measurable profit improvement opportunities.
• Recommend systems that improve efficiency and reduce unnecessary costs.

Within your first year, you will help deliver:
