About the Role
Pep & Gusto is seeking a highly organised and creative Marketing & Social Media Assistant to support the Social Media & Creative Lead in delivering high-quality marketing content and digital communications.
This role will focus on the day-to-day execution of social media, content creation and marketing support tasks while working closely with the Social Media & Creative Lead to ensure work is delivered efficiently and consistently.
The position is ideal for someone who enjoys structured processes, takes pride in producing high-quality work and is motivated to support a growing marketing consultancy that works with a wide variety of clients and industries.
This role is being recruited by Clarke Point(www.clarkepoint.com), a premier Singapore-based agency dedicated to delivering global recruitment and staffing solutions, and is for a long-term, full-time Independent Contractor.
What You’ll Be Doing
Social Media Management- Assist in planning and preparing social media content calendars
- Schedule posts across social media platforms
- Prepare captions and hashtags aligned with brand tone
- Upload and schedule content using social media management tools
- Monitor engagement and respond to comments and messages when required
- Track social media performance metrics
- Prepare simple social media reports
- Create social media graphics and marketing visuals
- Adapt existing design templates for multiple platforms
- Resize graphics for different channels
- Prepare simple marketing assets such as flyers, digital banners and presentations
- Ensure visual content aligns with brand guidelines
- Assist with preparing content for blogs, newsletters and marketing materials
- Format written content for social media or website publishing
- Assist with preparing presentation materials for workshops or client sessions
- Organise and maintain content libraries and design templates
- Organise digital files, templates and assets
- Update marketing documents and internal resources
- Prepare basic marketing reports and summaries
- Maintain marketing calendars and project trackers
- Assist with preparing materials for marketing workshops and client projects
- Assist in implementing marketing campaigns developed by the strategy team
- Coordinate marketing assets required for campaign launches
- Support the preparation of launch content for new products or services
- Assist in tracking campaign performance metrics
What We’re Looking For
Essential- Experience working as an Independent Contractor for an Australian, American or similar client
- Experience in social media management, marketing support or digital marketing
- Experience creating social media graphics using tools such as Canva or similar
- Strong written English communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to follow structured processes and instructions
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Reliable internet connection and remote working setup
- Experience supporting marketing agencies or consultants
- Basic video editing skills for social media content
- Experience with social media scheduling tools
- Experience with email marketing platforms
- Experience preparing marketing reports or analytics summaries
- Familiarity with Australian business audiences or markets
Remote Work Setup Requirements
To ensure a smooth and professional remote working experience, candidates must have the following:
- A reliable computer or laptop
- Stable internet connection
- Quiet, dedicated home workspace suitable for remote work
- Highly organised: Enjoys structured workflows and managing multiple tasks without losing attention to detail.
- Proactive and reliable: Takes ownership of tasks and consistently delivers work on time.
- Quality focused: Takes pride in producing accurate and visually polished work.
- Collaborative: Works well with a supervisor and communicates clearly about progress and challenges.
- Curious and eager to learn: Interested in marketing strategy and continuously improving skills.
- ₱50,000 to ₱70,000 per month (depending on experience)
- Long-term, full-time Independent Contractor role
- Philippines public holidays
- 12 days vacation leave per year
- 6 days sick leave per year
- ₱2,500 monthly health insurance allowance
- Fully remote, Monday to Friday, aligned with Australian business hours (with flexibility)
Pep & Gusto is based in Melbourne, Australia, thus the work hours will follow Melbourne time (GMT +10) with some flexibility.
