Safety Officer

We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Safety Officer to oversee site operations while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project requirements. The ideal candidate has experience in construction site management, occupational safety, and processing permits and reports required by government agencies, particularly DOLE.

• Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards and company safety policies.
• Conduct regular site inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments.
• Implement and monitor safety programs, toolbox meetings, and emergency response procedures.
• Prepare and submit required safety reports, permits, and documentation to DOLE and other government agencies.
• Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure a safe working environment.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor compliance with the Construction Safety and Health Program (CSHP) and other regulatory requirements.
• Supervise daily site activities to ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and safety standards.
• Maintain complete and updated safety records and project documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related Engineering course.
• PRC License is an advantage.
• At least 1–3 years of experience in construction, site engineering, or safety engineering.
• Knowledgeable in DOLE Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Standards, Construction Safety and Health Program (CSHP), and government compliance requirements.
• Experience in preparing and processing DOLE safety reports, permits, and related documentation is an advantage.
• Preferably with COSH/BOSH/First Aid certification.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Must be willing to relocate to any project site nationwide.
