Accounting officer

Job Description

• We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Officer to join our dynamic team at AM Group Kitchen Equipment and Supplies Inc. in Makati City, Metro Manila. This full-time position will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and supporting the overall financial operations of the company.

• Preparing and processing accounts payable and receivable transactions in a timely and accurate manner
• Reconciling bank statements, general ledger accounts and other financial records
• Assisting with the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements
• Providing support in the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings
• Participating in the month-end and year-end close processes
• Identifying and resolving accounting discrepancies and implementing process improvements
• Assisting the finance team with ad-hoc projects and requests as needed

Qualifications/Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in financial accounting and reporting
• Proficient in the use of accounting software and MS Excel or any spreadsheet applications
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with relevant accounting standards and regulations
