Accounting & Finance Officer

The Accounting & Finance Officer is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing cash flow, ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory requirements, and supporting operational and strategic decision‑making. This role combines accounting precision with financial management oversight to safeguard company resources and promote sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounting Records Management
• Maintain general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Ensure accuracy of branch‑level financial transactions and documentation.
• Financial Reporting
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Provide management with timely reports on profitability, expenses, and cash flow.
• Payroll & Disbursement
• Administer payroll processing and salary releases in coordination with HR/Operations.
• Ensure proper documentation and authorization for cash disbursements.
• Compliance & Audit
• File tax returns, government contributions, and other statutory requirements on time.
• Maintain audit‑ready records and support external/internal audits.
• Budgeting & Forecasting
• Assist in preparing budgets and monitoring expense variances.
• Conduct ROI and projection analyses for new branches or expansion projects.
• Risk Management & Controls
• Implement internal controls to prevent fraud and financial mismanagement.
• Conduct periodic reviews of financial processes and recommend improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA license preferred but not required.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in accounting/finance roles.
• Strong knowledge of taxation, payroll, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting systems and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
