Job Summary

We are looking for a QA Engineer with strong experience in manual testing and exposure to automation. The role requires hands-on API testing and experience working in Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design, create, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
Perform manual testing (functional, regression, integration, black box)
Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman or similar
Identify, document, and track defects using standard bug-tracking tools
Collaborate with developers and product managers to define requirements and acceptance criteria
Support automation testing using Selenium (preferred) or Cypress/Playwright
Develop and maintain test documentation and test structures
Validate end-to-end system workflows and integrations
Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
Ensure product quality aligns with business and user requirements

Qualifications

2–7 years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance
Strong background in manual/black box testing (required)
Hands-on experience in API testing (required)
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments (high priority)
Experience with Selenium (highly preferred); Cypress or Playwright is a plus
Ability to create test plans, test cases, and execute end-to-end testing
Basic understanding of backend concepts (APIs, databases)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Nice to Have

Experience in automation frameworks or test scripting
Exposure to tools like JIRA, Git, or similar QA tools
Experience in web-based or SaaS applications
