About the role

We are seeking a diligent and organised Purchasing Assistant to join our team at NYGC Services, Inc. in Alabang Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila. As a Purchasing Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our procurement operations, ensuring the seamless acquisition of materials and supplies to keep our manufacturing and logistics processes running smoothly.

This is a full-time position that will involve working closely with our purchasing and operations teams.

What you'll be doing
  1. Assist in the preparation and processing of purchase orders, requisitions, and other procurement-related documentation
  2. Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate pricing, and manage order fulfilment
  3. Maintain detailed records of purchases, inventory levels, and supplier performance
  4. Support the coordination of deliveries and ensure the timely receipt of goods
  5. Provide administrative support to the Purchasing team as needed
  6. Contribute to the continuous improvement of purchasing policies and procedures
What we're looking for
  1. Minimum of 2 years' experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within the manufacturing or logistics industry
  2. Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
  3. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  4. Proficient in the use of procurement software, spreadsheets, and other relevant business applications
  5. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and data
  6. A team player with a proactive and solution-oriented approach
