JOB SUMMARY

The Motorpool Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the company's fleet of vehicles, ensuring their maintenance, scheduling, and compliance with safety regulations. This role involves managing drivers, coordinating vehicle assignments, and maintaining records for all vehicles in the motorpool.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Vehicle Maintenance and Management:

• Oversee the maintenance, repair, and servicing of all company vehicles.
• Maintain an up-to-date inventory of spare parts and tools for vehicle maintenance.
• Manage vehicle registration, insurance, and documentation.

Fleet Scheduling and Utilization:

• Schedule vehicles and drivers for construction projects, ensuring optimal utilization.
• Coordinate with project managers to understand vehicle requirements for different projects.

Safety and Compliance:

• Implement and enforce safety and compliance standards for vehicle operation.
• Handle emergency situations involving company vehicles and drivers.
• Conduct regular training sessions for drivers on safety and compliance.

Budgeting and Cost Management:

• Develop and monitor the budget for the motorpool department.
• Prepare regular reports on vehicle usage, maintenance costs, and fuel consumption.

Team Management:

• Manage a team of drivers and vehicle maintenance technicians.
• Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment.
