PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR - PUSH PLATE

Job Overview:

This role involves leading and managing a team of production workers, ensuring adherence to schedules, and optimizing workflows to meet production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage daily operations in the Push Plate Department.
• Monitor and improve the efficiency of production processes, ensuring timely and accurate output.
• Ensure all production equipment is maintained and operating properly.
• Lead, train, and develop team members to ensure optimal performance and compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
• Enforce company safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.
• Monitor and manage production schedules, adjusting when necessary to meet deadlines.
• Work closely with Quality Control to ensure all products meet quality standards and specifications.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as production efficiency, downtime, and waste reduction.
• Collaborate with other departments, including Maintenance, Quality Control, and Logistics, to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure that all necessary raw materials and components are available for production.
• Assist in the preparation of production reports and other documentation as needed.
• Enforce adherence to company policies, including attendance, timekeeping, and behavior in the workplace.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or higher preferred.
• Proven experience in a production environment, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role, preferably in manufacturing or a related field.
• Knowledge of push plate manufacturing processes, materials, and equipment is a plus.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make quick decisions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Good understanding of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
