Quality Assurance Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in reviewing, updating, implementing, and monitoring policies, procedures, and programs to ensure product quality and safety.
• Ensure company compliance with corporate, regulatory, and facility food safety and quality standards.
• Train and support QA/QC inspectors in carrying out their functions and regularly evaluate their performance.
• Supervise and guide quality assurance staff in enforcing Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other quality-related policies to meet product standards and ensure food safety requirements are fulfilled.
• Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in products, processes, and systems related to production and QA activities.
• Collaborate with other departments to investigate and resolve quality-related issues.
• Participate in regulatory, third-party, and customer audits and inspections, including follow-up on corrective actions.
• Establish and validate acceptable standard parameters.
• Review and oversee the implementation of the HACCP program.
• Assist in delivering training programs related to GMP, Sanitation, Pest Control, and HACCP.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support departmental and company objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Engineering, or other related disciplines.
• Knowledgeable in Food Safety, GMP, HACCP, and ISO standards.
• 1–2 years of experience in the food manufacturing industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Methodical and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
